Business consulting for Metro Detroit small businesses
Applied Agency AI is a business consulting firm in Wixom, Michigan. We use AI where it earns its place and leave it out where it doesn't.
Two problems bring most owners here. Good people spend their week on work a system should be doing, and customers who went looking never found the business or never got answered. Everything below sits under one of those two.
Every engagement starts with the audit
The $297 AI Readiness Audit maps where the hours and the leads are going, ranks what we find by return, and hands back a 7-day plan. It is fixed scope and fixed price, and it is yours to run without us. Implementation is scoped and quoted afterward, once there is something real to quote against.

Give back the hours. Quotes, invoices, intake, follow-up, the Monday report — the work that has to happen every week and does not need a person to happen.
Grow your pipeline
Get found, get leads. A site built to rank and convert, and the search work that puts you in front of buyers on Google and in AI answers.
Where we work
We're based in Wixom and most of Oakland County is inside a 30-minute drive, which means discovery happens in your building rather than over video.
Questions we get a lot
What does a business consultant actually do for a small business?
We look at how work moves through your business, find the places where it stalls or gets redone by hand, and put a number on what each one costs you in hours and missed revenue. Then we rank the fixes and build the ones worth building. The audit does the first part for $297, so you can judge the thinking before committing to the second.
Are you a business consultant or an AI company?
A business consulting firm that uses AI where it fits. An AI company sells you AI, so every problem gets an AI answer. Plenty of what we recommend involves no AI at all, because a cleaner handoff or a fixed form solves the problem for nothing.
What does it cost?
The AI Readiness Audit is $297, fixed, and it is the only thing on this site with a set price. Implementation work and the Fractional CAIO retainer are scoped and quoted after the audit, because the price depends entirely on what the audit finds. You get a flat quote before any build starts.
Do you only work with businesses in Metro Detroit?
Metro Detroit and Oakland County are the home market, and we will come to you for a discovery session anywhere in it. The work itself is delivered remotely, so we also take clients outside the area.
How long before anything changes?
The audit comes back within a week and gives you a 7-day plan you can run yourself. If we build, the first automation ships in about four weeks. Website and SEO work runs longer, because search results move on Google's schedule rather than ours.
