Wix, WordPress and Shopify Store SEO for Metro Detroit Businesses
A good product can sell badly online for reasons that have nothing to do with the product. We work through the store the way a buyer and a search engine each see it, and fix what stops either one from reaching the checkout.
A store can be perfectly good and still be invisible
Product pages ship with whatever title the platform generated, a search listing that is missing or cut off mid-sentence, and option menus that read like something else. The catalog still holds demo products from the week the store was built, and the copyright line shows a year that has passed. A buyer holding a purchase order has no way to order at all. None of that reflects the quality of what you make, and all of it costs sales every month it stays.
What we fix
Product titles and search listings
Every product page gets a title and a description written to the words buyers type, not the ones the platform generated. Pages missing a listing entirely get one.
Options that read the way buyers think
Variant and option labels with the units written on them, and no second box that looks like the first. If a buyer cannot tell whether a number means one unit or a case, the order stops there.
Product schema and structured data
Price, availability, and specification markup so Google and AI answer engines can read the catalog properly and quote it correctly.
Catalog hygiene
Demo products, duplicates, and items hidden by accident, found and dealt with. A product hidden by mistake cannot be found, ranked, or bought.
A route for buyers who cannot use a card
Agencies, schools, contractors, and municipalities buy on a purchase order. A quote request path keeps those orders instead of sending them to a competitor who takes a PO.
The page that answers the buying question
We build one page that answers the exact question buyers ask before they choose. That page is also what gets cited when someone puts the question to ChatGPT or Google's AI Overviews.
Common questions
Can you do real SEO on a Wix site?
Yes. Wix has a worse reputation than it deserves. Product titles, search listings, structured data, redirects, and the robots and llms files are all editable, and we work in them directly. Some page content lives only in the Wix Editor, so that part is done by hand rather than through the API.
What about WordPress and WooCommerce?
The work is the same and the buttons sit in different places. Product titles, meta descriptions, schema, category structure, redirects, and site speed behave much the same on WooCommerce as on Wix or Shopify. The same mistakes are possible on all of them.
Do we need to move to a different platform?
Almost never. A rebuild costs months, and before recommending one we check whether the platform is what is blocking the sale. We fix what is in front of us. If the platform genuinely blocks something that matters, we tell you what it blocks and what moving would cost before anyone commits.
Will you touch our prices, stock levels, or checkout?
No. Prices, stock, and the checkout stay yours and we do not write to them. We read them before and after every change so we can prove nothing moved. Anything that touches money stays your decision.
How long before a product page ranks?
Listings and structured data can be fixed in days, and Google usually re-reads the pages within a week or two. Competitive product terms take longer, because they depend on authority that builds over months. We start with what moves fast and say plainly which parts are the long play.
Do you work with stores outside Metro Detroit?
Yes. Metro Detroit and Oakland County are the home market, and the place we come to you in person. Store and search work is delivered remotely, so location is not a constraint.
